The Recruitment Process
Online Client Registration
Clients can submit new vacancies using our online facility by completing the following three steps:
- Register your details using our online registration facility. This
is a simple, one-time process that takes seconds to complete. You will be asked to provide a
password during the process and be given a username upon successful completion.
- On obtaining a username and password you can submit your vacancy (Permanent, Contract or Temporary) using
our online vacancy submission facility. A Recruitment
Consultant will be automatically notified of your new vacancy and will subsequently make contact with you.
- Upon confirmation of the vacancy with the client, a Recruitment Consultant will authorise it to
be shown on our online vacancy listings.

The Recruitment Process
Our Consultants are trained to understand the Client's precise needs. They will find out exactly
what the job/assignment involves. Where possible we encourage a visit to the Client's site to gain
a better understanding of the role and environment.
Recruitment Consultants use our sophisticated database to match candidate to vacancies. This search
facility happens in seconds! Thereafter we personally select Candidates and create a shortlist.
If we do not have the 'right person for the job' we will advertise the vacancy - all as part of
our service. Further information about attracting Candidates
is available on our website.
All persons applying for work are required to complete a registration form. Details of skills,
experience, education, qualifications, previous positions held and reasons for leaving will be
recorded. Proof of ID and references are also taken up and only those meeting your requirements
will progress to the interview stage. Our procedures comply with the Conduct Regulations 2003.
Where appropriate, tests will be carried out. GCA Recruitment uses a sophisticated online testing
programme that allows applicants to work through modules that analyse their appropriate skills.
Tests are timed and scored by the PC to ensure objectivity and accuracy. A trained Recruitment
Consultant then provides immediate feedback to the Candidate.
Time is then taken to discuss each position in detail with the Candidate to ensure that they know
as much as possible about your organisation and their potential role. |
